1. Check the coolant temperature switch sensor.
a) Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between the terminals of the sensor-switch when the coolant temperature is above 93°C.
b) Using an ohmmeter, check for conductivity between the terminals of the sensor-switch at a coolant temperature of no more than 83°C.
