Checking on the engine
1. Check the operation of the electric fan of the cooling system when the engine operating temperature is no more than 83°C.
a) Turn on the ignition.
6) Make sure that the electric cooling fan is not rotating.
Otherwise, check the electric cooling fan relay and the coolant temperature sensor switch, and also check the connector and wire between them.
c) Disconnect the coolant temperature switch sensor connector.

d) Make sure the cooling fan is rotating.

Otherwise, check the electric fan relay, electric fan, main engine relay, and also check for a short circuit in the circuit between the relay and the coolant temperature switch sensor.
d) Connect the coolant temperature switch sensor connector.
2. Check the operation of the cooling fan when the engine operating temperature is more than 93°C.
a) Start the engine and warm it up until the coolant temperature is above 93°C.
6) Make sure the cooling fan is rotating. If not, replace the coolant temperature switch sensor.
