2. Loosen the coupler bolts.
A) Press the brake pedal and hold it.
b) Using a socket wrench, loosen the bolts ½ turn.
V) Loosen the two center support bearing retainer bolts.
3. Disconnect the driveshaft from the rear differential.
A) Put alignment marks on the connecting flanges.
b) Remove four bolts, washers and nuts.
4. Disconnect the cardan shaft from the gearbox.
A) Loosen the two bolts and remove the bearing.
b) Disconnect the front driveshaft flange from the gearbox.
V) Insert a plug into the transfer case to prevent oil leakage.
5. Disconnect the front propeller shaft from the rear propeller shaft.
A) Put alignment marks on the coupling and flange.
Note: when marking, do not damage the surface of the parts.
b) Using a socket wrench, remove the six bolts and three washers, and separate the front driveshaft from the rear driveshaft.
