A) Remove the plug from the gearbox.
b) Connect the front flange of the propeller shaft to the gearbox.
2. Establish the central basic bearing and temporarily tighten bolts of fastening to a body.
3. Install the rear driveshaft.
A) Align the alignment marks on the flanges of the driveshaft and the rear differential and connect the shaft, securing it with four bolts, washers and nuts.
b) Tighten bolts and nuts.
- Tightening torque - 74 Nm
4. Tighten the bolts securing the coupler to the rear flange.
A) Press the brake pedal and hold it.
b) Using a socket wrench, tighten the coupler mounting bolts.
- Tightening torque - 27 Nm
5. Finally tighten bolts of fastening of the basic bearing to a body.
A) Make sure that the distance indicated in the figure corresponds to the nominal value.
- Nominal distance - 65.5-70.5 mm
b) Tighten the bearing holder mounting bolts.
- Tightening torque - 38 Nm
V) Align the driveshaft and bearing holder as shown.
6. Install the exhaust pipe.
7. Check the oil level in the transfer case and top up if necessary.
