Pic. 6.1. Components of the brake system of the car Corolla Verso
The new models use two types of brake systems: ABS with electronic brake force distribution (EBD) and ABS with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), emergency brake booster, traction control (TRC) and stability control system (VSC). Both brake systems installed on the new Corolla Verso models are similar in design and principle of operation to the systems installed on Avensis vehicles.
Standard equipment on all models includes a braking system that includes ABS with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), emergency brake booster, traction control (TRC) and stability control system (VSC). By special order, a braking system is installed, including ABS with electronic brake force distribution system (EBD).
The design uses the following components manufactured by BOSCH: brake master cylinder, front brake calipers, rear brake calipers, parking brake and brake actuator control unit.
