- A) Use a center punch to mark the center of the cone head bolts.
- b) Drill a hole with a diameter of 3-4 mm in the bolts with a conical head.
- V) Using the special tool, remove the conical head bolts and.-
- G) Turn away two bolts and remove an arm of the lock of ignition and pipes of a steering column.
2. Remove 2 extension springs.
3. Remove the two compression springs
- A) Loosen the two bolts and remove the springs.
- b) Remove bushings from springs.
4. Remove the two tilt lever holders.
- A) Turn away nuts from an axis of levers.
- b) Turn away two nuts from bolts of a steering column and remove holders.
5. Remove 2 dogs
- A) Loosen the nut and remove the bolt.
- b) Remove the bushings.
- V) Remove bushings from dogs.
6. Remove 2 pawl retainers.
7. Remove the tilt adjustment lever, the auxiliary tilt adjustment lever, and the lever axle.
8. Remove the top tube of the steering column.
- A) Assemble the fixture with the nut (nominal diameter 10 mm, pitch 1.25 mm), flat washer (outer diameter 36 mm) and bolt (nominal diameter 10 mm, pitch 1.25 mm, length 50 mm), as shown in the figure and remove the two bolts.
- b) Remove the steering column top tube from the steering column bottom tube.
- V) Remove the main shaft coupling.
9. Remove the main shaft.
- A) Use a special tool to compress the spring (as it shown on the picture), and remove the retaining ring.
- b) Remove the shaft from the top tube.
- V) Remove spring, thrust washer and bearing.
- G) Using the special tool, remove the retaining ring.
10. Remove the wire harness clamp.
11. Turn away 3 bolts and remove a basic arm.
