- A) Make alignment marks on the universal joint and main shaft.
- b) Loosen the bolt.
2. Remove the bracket clamp and ignition lock bracket.
- A) Use a center punch to mark the center of the cone head bolts.
- b) Drill a hole with a diameter of 3-4 mm in the bolts with a conical head.
- V) Using the special tool, remove the cone head bolts.
3. Remove the support bracket.
- A) Loosen the locknut, remove the washer and axle bolt.
- b) Remove the two bushings of the holder of the steering column No. 1 and remove the holder.
4. Remove two plates.
- A) Using pliers, remove the plate clamp.
- b) Remove the plate, plate guide and holder insert.
5. Remove the angle adjustment lever and holder.
- A) Using a screwdriver, remove the spring.
- b) Remove amplifier N>1 with bolt. Attention: this bolt is only for the left side of the steering column.
- V) Loosen the locknut by turning it clockwise.
Attention: This nut is only for the left side of the steering column.
- G) Remove the #1 lever axle, tilt adjustment lever, and auxiliary tilt adjustment lever.
- d) Remove the holder.
5. Remove the main shaft and bushing.
- A) Using the special tool, remove the circlip from the main shaft.
- b) Using the special tool and a hammer, remove the main shaft.
- V) Using a screwdriver, remove the bushing.
- G) Using the special tool, remove the circlip from the main shaft.
