Latch



1. Draw the outline of the latch and unscrew the bolts securing it to the front crossmember. Remove the latch.

2. Disconnect the cable from the latch.

3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Drive cable



1. Disconnect the latch drive cable.

2. Attach a piece of strong wire to the cable and, following the route of the cable, disconnect the latches securing the cable sheath to the body.



3. Inside the cabin, unscrew the mounting screws (indicated by arrows) hood latch cable handles.

4. Remove the cable by pulling it and the seal into the passenger compartment until the wire appears. Remove the old cable and attach the new cable and seal to the wire.

5. Pull the cable into the engine compartment by the wire.

6. Installation is performed in reverse order. Install the through seal by pressing it with your fingers so that it enters the hole in the engine compartment partition.
