Remove the top panel of the console.
Remove the rear end panel of the console.
Remove the storage box on the console.
Remove the parking brake lever.
Removal
Disconnect parking brake cable No.1 from parking brake cables No.2 and No.3.

Remove the parking brake cable equalizer (Fig. 6.24).
Installation
Install the equalizer on the parking brake drive cable No.1.
Connect parking brake cable No.1 to parking brake cables No.2 and No.3.
Remove the rear wheel.
Adjust the parking brake shoe clearance.
Install the rear wheel.
Tightening torque: 103 Nm.
Check the travel of the parking brake lever.
Adjust the travel of the parking brake lever.
