Type A
1. Overheating
2. Normal temperature
Type B
1. Overheating
2. Normal temperature
The indicator works when the ignition key is in the On position. Engine coolant temperature depends on engine load and weather conditions.
If the arrow is in the red zone and above, then stop the car and let the engine cool down.
Overheating of the engine is possible under severe driving conditions, for example:
- with a long rise in hot weather;
- when reducing speed or when stopping the car after driving at high speed;
- during prolonged idling with the air conditioner on and with frequent stops in the process of movement;
- when using the car as a towing vehicle.
Attention! Do not remove the thermostat, as driving without the thermostat will cause the engine to overheat. The thermostat is designed to regulate the flow of coolant and maintain the engine temperature within operating limits.
Attention! Do not drive with an overheated engine.
