Check on the car

Engine 2L-T, 3L, 2L:

1. Check the refrigerant pressure.

a) Connect the pressure gauge block to the compressor service valves.

b) The instrument reading should be greater than 206 kPa at an ambient temperature above 0°C.

If the pressure is less than 206 kPa, charge the system with refrigerant.
2. Check the pressure switch.

a) Remove the glove box.

b) Disconnect the wire connector.

c) Check the conductivity between the switch terminals. The device should show 0 Ohm. If there is no conductivity, replace the switch.

3. Install the removed parts in reverse order.

Engine 1KZ-T:

1. Install the pressure gauge block.

2. Remove the two screws and remove the glove compartment door.

3. Disconnect the pressure sensor connector.

4. Set the rotation speed to about 2000 rpm.

5. Check the operation of the sensor. Check the conductivity between the terminals when the pressure changes, as shown in the figure.

6. Stop the engine and disconnect the pressure gauge block.

7. Connect the switch connector.

8. Install the glove compartment door.
