"START" – turns on the starter. The key will return to the "ON" position when released.
"ON" – switching on the engine and auxiliary equipment of all types; this is a normal driving position.
"ACC" - Auxiliary devices such as the radio operate but the engine is off.
If you leave the key in the "ACC" or "LOCK" position and open the driver's door, a chime will sound to remind you to remove the key.

"LOCK" – the engine is off and the steering wheel is locked; the key can only be removed in this position.
The key must be pressed to turn it from the "ACC" position to the "LOCK" position.
If the key is removed, the engine immobilizer system will be set automatically.
When starting the engine, the key may appear stuck in the "LOCK" position (blocking). To release it, first make sure the key is pressed all the way in, then turn the steering wheel slightly while gently turning the key.
Warning: Never remove the key while the vehicle is moving, as this will lock the steering wheel and cause loss of vehicle control.
