Checking the thickness of the brake pads [Toyota Duet M100]

1. Measure the thickness of the front brake shoe linings. Minimum brake shoe lining thickness:
  • 13 inch disk - 1.0 mm
  • 14 inch disk - 1.5 mm

Nominal thickness of brake shoe linings:
  • 13 inch disc - 10.0 mm
  • 14 inch disk - 9.5 mm



If the brake pad lining thickness is less than the minimum permitted or uneven wear of the linings is detected, replace the brake pads.

2. Measure the thickness of the rear brake shoe linings.

Nominal thickness:
  • up to 2000 g - 5.0 mm
  • since 2000 - 4.0 mm

Minimum thickness - 1.0 mm



If the lining thickness is less than the minimum or the lining is worn unevenly, replace the brake pads.
