Note: after any work related to the ingress of air into the brake system, bleed it.
Caution: Do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with painted surfaces. If brake fluid comes into contact with a painted surface, wash it off immediately.
1. Fill the reservoir with brake fluid.
- Brake fluid type - SAE J 1703 or FMVSS 116 DOT3 or DOT4
2. Pump over the main brake cylinder.
Note: If the master cylinder was removed or if the reservoir was left empty, bleed the air from the master cylinder.
A) Disconnect the brake pipes from the master brake cylinder.
b) Slowly press and hold the brake pedal.
V) Plug the brake cylinder outlets with your fingers and release the brake pedal.
G) Repeat steps "b" And "V" three or four times.
3. Bleed the brake system.
Note: Start bleeding the system with the longest brake line.
A) Connect the vinyl tube to the wheel brake cylinder bleeder port.
b) Press a brake pedal several times, then, holding a pedal in the pressed state, weaken an inhaling of the pumping union.
V) When the working fluid stops coming out, tighten the fitting, then release the brake pedal.
G) Repeat steps (b) And (V) until no more air bubbles appear in the outgoing working fluid.
d) Repeat the bleeding procedure for each wheel.
4. Check the fluid level in the reservoir and add fluid if necessary.
