Disassembling drive shafts (2WD models with manual transmission and 4WD) [Toyota Duet M100]

1. Remove the inner joint dust boot clamps.

Note: Do not damage the boot.


2. Lower the dust cover and remove the grease from the joint.



3. Remove the retaining ring using a screwdriver.



4. Remove the outer race of the inner joint.

5. Using pliers, remove the retaining ring and take out the inner race of the inner joint.



6. Remove grease from the joint and remove the dust cover.

Note: Wrap electrical tape around the drive shaft splines to prevent damage to the boot.
