Removal
1. Jack up the car.
2. Remove the front wheels.
3. Disconnect the anti-roll bar link.
Lower arm of the front suspension.
1 - steering knuckle,
2 - lower arm of the front suspension.

4. Using the special tool, disconnect the steering knuckle from the lower arm of the front suspension.
Caution: Do not damage the threads.

5. Remove the lower arm of the front suspension by unscrewing the bolt securing the lower arm to the frame.
Check (Sirion)
Check the ball bearing rotation moment.
a) Before installing the nut, rock the ball joint pin from side to side (approximately 20°) 5 times.
b) Using a torque wrench, rotate the pin continuously (one revolution in 2 seconds) and take a reading on the fifth revolution.
- Scrolling moment - 0.6 -1.8 Nm
Installation
1. Slide off the lower control arm ball joint dust boot and remove the grease.

2. Connect the lower arm to the frame and tighten the mounting nut.

3. Connect the lower control arm ball joint to the steering knuckle.
- Tightening torque - 30 - 52 Nm
4. Install the lower suspension arm as shown in the figure.
Note: Tighten the mounting nut completely after the suspension has stabilized.
- Tightening torque - 59 - 83 Nm
Nominal distance "A":
- Duet — 50.7±5.0 mm

5. Install the anti-roll bar.
6. Install the front wheels.
- Tightening torque - 88 - 118 Nm
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Stabilize the suspension and finally tighten the suspension mounting nuts.
9. Check and, if necessary, adjust the front wheel alignment angles.
