EJ Series
Removal
1. Relieve residual fuel pressure.
2. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
3. Unscrew the fuel filler cap.
4. Unscrew the drain plug and drain the fuel from the tank.
5. Remove the fuel tank and fuel pump (see assembly drawing "Removing and installing the fuel tank and fuel pump (EJ-VE)").
Note: When disconnecting fuel lines, see section "Precautions when working with the fuel system".
Installation
1. Install the fuel pump.
a) Install a new gasket.
b) Install the pump by aligning its pin with the hole in the bracket.
2. Install the fuel tank.
a) Connect the connectors (see section "Precautions when working with the fuel system").
b) Connect all fuel hoses and fittings.
Note: Connect the hoses as shown in the figure.
3. Connect the ventilation hose and filler hose No.2 of the fuel tank, tighten the clamps
Note: Connect the hose and tighten the clamp with spacer as shown in the pictures.
Removing and installing the fuel tank and fuel pump (EJ series).
1 - inlet hose,
2 - ventilation hose,
3 - fuel supply pipe,
4 - fuel vapor recovery system tube,
5 - fuel tank,
6 - fuel pump,
7 - fuel pump gasket,
8 - fuel pump bracket,
9 - fuel cut-off valve.
4. Fill with gasoline.
5. Connect the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
6. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
KZ series
Removal
1. Relieve residual fuel pressure.
2. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

3. Unscrew the fuel filler cap.
4. Unscrew the drain plug and drain the fuel from the tank.
5. Disconnect the main fuel pipe (see section "Precautions when working with the fuel system").
6. Remove the fuel tank and fuel pump (see assembly drawing "Removing and installing the fuel tank and fuel pump (KZ series)").
Installation
1. Install the fuel shut-off valve with a new gasket.
2. Install the ventilation pipe with a new gasket.
3. Install the fuel pump with bracket assembly.
a) Install a new gasket.
b) Install the fuel pump by aligning the pin and recess of the pump body with the hole and protrusion of the bracket, respectively.
4. Install the fuel tank assembly. Connect the hoses and connectors.
Note: Connect the hoses as shown in the figure.
5. Connect fuel tank filler hose No.2.
Note: Connect the hose and tighten the clamp with spacer as shown in the figure.
6. Fill with gasoline.
7. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
8. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
