Removal and installation
Note:
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Tightening torques are given in the text.
- After installation, perform a road test.
1. Remove the starter inhibit switch lever.
a) Loosen the nut and remove the gearbox control rod.
- Tightening torque of the nut during installation is 15 Nm
b) Loosen the nut and remove the thrust washer and the engine start inhibit switch lever.
- Tightening torque of the nut during installation is 13 Nm
2. Disconnect the start inhibit switch connector.
3. Remove the start inhibit switch.
a) Unlock the lock and unscrew the nut.
Installation note: After locking the lock nut, adjust the starter inhibit switch (see the section "Checking and adjusting the engine starter inhibit switch").
- Tightening torque of the nut during installation is 7 Nm
b) Unscrew the two bolts and remove the start inhibit switch.
- Tightening torque of bolts during installation - 5.4 Nm
