Removal



Note:
  • Install in the reverse order of removal.
  • After installation, perform a road test.


1. Remove the starter inhibit switch lever.

a) Unscrew the nut and remove the automatic transmission control rod.
  • Tightening torque of the nut during installation is 15 Nm



b) Loosen the nut and remove the thrust washer and the engine start inhibit switch lever.
  • Tightening torque of the nut during installation is 13 Nm



2. Disconnect the start inhibit switch connector.

3. Remove the start inhibit switch.

a) Unlock the lock and unscrew the nut.

Installation instruction: After locking the lock nut, adjust the starter inhibit switch.
  • Tightening torque of the nut during installation is 6.9 Nm

b) Unscrew the two bolts and remove the start inhibit switch.


  • Tightening torque of bolts during installation - 5.4 Nm
