Evaluate the degree of wear of the oil, the presence of water in it, the loss of color and viscosity. If oil «grown old», change the oil. Use oil with an API SC, SD, SE, and SF specification or higher quality and recommended viscosity.
2. Check the oil level in the crankcase: it should be between the marks: «L» (short) And «F» (full) on the level meter (measuring probe).
3. Remove the emergency oil pressure sensor.
4. Install a reference manometer to measure oil pressure.
5. Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
6. Check the oil pressure in the engine lubrication system.
Oil pressure at engine idle:
- at a minimum speed of rotation - 0.3 kg / cm2 (29 kPa) and higher
- at a speed of 3000 min-1 — 2.5-5.0 kg/cm2 (245 - 490 kPa)
7. Install the standard oil pressure sensor.
Attention: after replacing the pressure gauge with an emergency oil pressure sensor, make sure that there are no leaks.
