There should be no significant deposits of rust or scale on the surface of the radiator filler neck or plug. The coolant must not contain oil. If the fluid is contaminated, replace it.
3. Replace coolant.
A) Remove the cap from the radiator or expansion tank.
b) Drain the radiator and engine block through the drain cocks (The engine drain cock is located on the left side of the engine).
V) Close drain cocks.
G) Fill the system with fresh coolant.
Warning: Only use commercially available ethylene glycol antifreeze fluids; mix ethylene glycol with water according to the manufacturer's recommendations; in addition, these fluids must have an anti-corrosion effect.
Cooling capacity (together with a heater)
- with front heater - 9.1 l
- with front and rear heaters - 10.1 l
d) Put a plug on the radiator or expansion tank.
e) Start the engine and check for leaks.
and) Check fluid level and top up if necessary.
