Preparation for withdrawal
1. Drain the coolant.
2. With AS system (air bypass systems in the exhaust pipeline) Remove the AS vibration valve together with the air intake manifold from the cylinder head.
3. Disconnect the fuel hoses from the fuel pump and carburetor.
4. Remove heater tube bracket from exhaust manifold.
5. Remove the vacuum tube from the cylinder head and carburetor by unscrewing the three bolts and first disconnecting the vacuum tubes from the cylinder head and carburetor.
Before removing tubes, use tags to help identify them.
Removing
1. Remove spark plugs and tubes.
2. Remove the cylinder head cover.
3. Remove the rocker arm axle group by first loosening and unscrewing three bolts and two nuts evenly in the sequence shown.
4. Remove the push rods and lay them so as not to confuse during installation.
5. Remove the cylinder head.
A) Loosen and unscrew the 13 bolts evenly in several passes in the sequence shown in the figure.
Warning: Warping and cracking of the cylinder head can occur due to the incorrect order of loosening and unscrewing the bolts.
b) Remove the head from the dowel pins of the cylinder block and lay it on wooden blocks. If the head cannot be removed, a flat-blade screwdriver can be used to drive it into the gas joint.
Warning: when doing this, take care not to damage the plane of the cylinder head and cylinder block.
