Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the ventilation hose from the head cover.
3. Disconnect the wires from the spark plugs.
4. Remove the wiring harness retainer bolt and move the wires to the side.
5. Unscrew the spark plug socket nuts and remove the head cover together with the gasket.
Installation
1. Clean the cylinder head and cover surfaces thoroughly.
2. Apply sealant to the mating surfaces (indicated by shading). Install the spark plug socket sealing rings, the marks on the rings should be directed towards the timing belt.
3. Install a new cover gasket, install the cover and spark plug socket nuts.
4. Tighten the nuts to the specified torque.
5. Install the remaining parts, start the engine and check for leaks.
