8.4.1. Adjusting the height of the clutch pedal
The height of the clutch pedal "1" (Fig. 161) should be 150-160 mm. To adjust, first remove the lower trim of the instrument panel (only with diesel engine) and remove the air hose. After this, loosen the pedal stop lock nut (4) and move the stop until the specified height is reached.

8.4.2. Adjusting the clutch pedal free travel
The clutch pedal free play needs to be adjusted if the clutch is difficult to depress or after installing new parts. The clutch pedal should have a free play of 13-23 mm at (2) (gasoline engines) or 5-15 mm (diesel engines), which is determined by moving the pedal with your fingers in both directions. When adjusting, loosen the lock nut (3) and move the push rod until the specified free travel of the clutch pedal is achieved. Tighten the lock nut. When carefully moving the clutch pedal with your fingers, a free travel of 1-5 mm should be felt. This is the push rod's own play. If it is absent, repeat the adjustment again.
