Note: If necessary, see chapter to remove high-voltage wires "Ignition system".
1. Disconnect the spark plug wires from the spark plugs by holding them only by the rubber caps. Improper handling of the wires can cause internal wire breaks.

2. Inspect the tips for electrical breakdown, cracks, conductive paths. Replace high-voltage wires if necessary.
3. Using an ohmmeter, check the resistance of each high voltage wire.
- Maximum resistance is 25 kOhm per wire

If resistance exceeds specified value, check wire lugs or replace wires and/or distributor cap (integrated ignition unit).
