1. Turn the ignition key to the "ACC" position.
2. Unlock the selector by pressing the button and move the selector to any position except "P".
3. Make sure that the ignition key cannot be turned to the "LOCK" position.
4. Move the selector to the "P" position and release the lock on the selector. Then, press and hold the lock again.
5. Make sure that the ignition key cannot be turned to the "LOCK" position.
6. Release the lock and make sure that the ignition key moves freely to the "LOCK" position.
