The brake fluid reservoir is located in the engine compartment. It has two chambers: for each of its own brake circuits. The reservoir is transparent, which allows you to visually control the fluid level in it. It is recommended to carry out such control once every 4 weeks.

The liquid level with the lid closed should not be higher than the MAX mark "1" and not lower than the MIN mark "2".

The system is filled with brake fluid of specification SAE J 1703, DOT3 or DOT4.

Due to wear of the brake linings, the brake fluid level decreases slightly. This is considered normal.

If the brake fluid level drops significantly over a short period of time, this is a sign of a fluid leak.

The leak location must be localized immediately. As a rule, the fluid leaks through worn cuffs in the brake cylinders. In this case, it is better to check the system in a specialized workshop.
