Checking the drive shaft protective covers [Toyota Corolla E80]

Place the car on a lift.

Check for traces of oil on and near the protective covers.

Check the reliability of the clamps.

Check the rubber of the protective covers with a lamp for pores and mechanical damage.

Replace damaged covers.

If the protective covers are pulled inwards due to the vacuum, they should also be replaced.
