Checking functionality
Remove the clamp, disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump.

Connect the vacuum sensor hose to the vacuum pump assembly as shown in Figure 6.17.
Close the hole of the other vacuum sensor hose with plug No.2.
Start the engine and warm it up for more than 2 minutes.
With the engine idling, check the vacuum pump vacuum.
Nominal vacuum: more than 650 mmHg (86.7 kPa).
Disconnect the vacuum sensor from the vacuum pump assembly.

Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum pump and secure with a clamp.
