Regulator location
The pressure regulator is designed to compensate for the pressure in the rear brakes when the load on the rear axle increases. The unit is located above the rear axle beam and contains a valve, a torsion bar and an adjusting bolt.
When air is removed from the brakes, the regulator is bled last.
If abnormal operation of the regulator is noted, then hand over the car to a car service for inspection and adjustment.
When replacing the regulator, put a reference mark on the adjusting nut, which should be tightened and aligned with this mark.
