Switch location





Switch (indicated by the arrow) mounted on the top of the pedal. When the pedal is pressed, the switch contacts close and the brake light comes on.

Removal and installation



1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Disconnect the connector from the switch.

3. Loosen the lock nut and remove the switch from the pedal bracket.

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Adjustment



1. Loosen the lock nut and move the switch to set the standard clearance with the pedal.

2. Connect the wires to the switch, connect the battery to ground.

3. Check the operation of the switch.
