Clutch slave cylinder parts





1. Cylinder; 2. Air bleed nipple; 3. Cover; 4. Pusher; 5. Piston; 6. Spring


Removal



1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Raise the front of the car.

3. Disconnect the hydraulic line from the cylinder, drain the fluid and plug the tubes.

4. Unscrew the two bolts.

5. Remove the cylinder.

Disassembly



1. Remove the cover and spring ring.

2. Knock out the piston and remove the spring.

3. Check the condition of the inner surface of the cylinder by touch.

4. If roughness is detected, replace the cylinder.

5. Assemble the cylinder, making sure that the new seals are installed correctly.

Installation



1. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

2. Insert the push rod into the recess on the clutch fork.

3. Secure the cylinder, connect the hose and bleed the hydraulic system.
