Check and replacement
1. Remove the gearbox.
2. Remove the clutch.
3. Wipe off the grease and check the condition of the bearing by lighting it in the bore.
4. If damage is found to the toe of the input shaft, or if rotation is difficult, press the bearing out.
5. If a puller is not available, remove the bearing with a water hammer.
6. To do this, fill the recess in the crankshaft with grease, carefully removing air.
7. Hit the jig inserted into the bearing. The diameter of the mandrel should be slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the bearing.
8. Remove the bearing and remove all grease.
9. Press in a new bearing with a mandrel resting against the outer race.
10. Install the clutch and gearbox.
