Examination
1. Disconnect the hoses and connector from the valve.
2. Checking the connections of the channels inside the vacuum valve.
a) Connect the battery to the connector terminals as shown in the figure.

b) Apply air to pipe "F" and make sure that air comes out of pipe "E" and does not come out of filter "G".
c) Disconnect the battery.
d) Apply air to pipe "E" and check that air comes out of filter "G" but does not come out of pipe "F".

d) If the valve does not operate as specified, replace the vacuum valve.
2. Checking for a short circuit.
Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between each terminal and the vacuum valve body. If continuity is detected, replace the vacuum valve.
3. Checking the resistance.
a) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the two connector terminals.
Resistance - 37-44 Ohm at 20°C
b) If the resistance value does not correspond to the specified value, replace the vacuum valve.
