1. Adjust brake pad clearance.
A) Jack up and put the car on stands.
b) Remove the plugs from the holes for adjusting the pads in the brake shield.
V) Use the adjusting lever to turn the adjusting nut until the wheel locks.
G) (With automatic gap adjuster) Insert a screwdriver through the hole in the brake shield and hold the adjustment lever as far away from the auto slack adjuster nut as possible.
d) Using the adjusting lever, turn the adjusting nut in the opposite direction until the wheel rotates freely.
Standard number of teeth to turn the adjusting nut (Without automatic gap adjuster):
- DYNA 150 — 5
- DYNA 100 — 7
e) Repeat steps (V) And (G) for other wheels.
and) (With automatic gap adjuster) Depress the brake pedal several times.
h) Insert the plugs into the holes.
e) Check if the backup is correct.
