Removal and checking the central steering rod
1. Disconnect the steering rod assembly from the central steering rod, having first removed the cotter pin and unscrewed the nut.
2. Disconnect the pendulum arm by first removing the cotter pin and unscrewing the nut.
3. Disconnect the central steering rod from the mounting lever rod, having first removed the cotter pin and unscrewed the nut.
Installing the central steering rod
1. Connect the center tie rod to the center arm rod, then connect the swing arm and tie rod assembly to the center rod and tighten the nuts.
2. Tighten the center arm rod with the nut and install a new cotter pin.
- Tightening torque - 91 Nm
3. Tighten the pendulum arm mounting nut.
- Tightening torque - 59 Nm
4. Tighten the steering rod assembly mounting nut.
- Tightening torque - 91 Nm
