1. Before installation, it is necessary to check the end and side clearances of the piston rings.



2. Install the upper compression ring into the cylinder using the piston.



3. Measure the ring end gap. If the gap is too small, you can replace the piston rings or increase the gap by filing the ends of the piston ring with a fine file.

4. Perform a similar procedure with all rings.

5. After checking and adjusting the end clearance, the rings can be installed on the pistons.



6. The oil scraper ring is installed first. First, install the expansion ring into the groove.

7. Then install the lower and upper oil scraper rings.

8. After installing all the oil scraper ring components, check that the upper and lower rings rotate freely.



9. Install the second compression ring with the mark facing up using a special tool. Installation is performed using a special tool – the marks on the rings should be facing up.

10. Then install the upper compression ring.

11. Repeat the same procedure with the remaining pistons.
