If there is noticeable play, replace the entire unit.

2. Remove the piston rings.
a) Special tools (with an expander or a screwdriver) remove both compression rings.

b) Remove the oil scraper ring elements manually (scrapers and ring expander).

Note: Place the rings in the correct order.
3. Disconnect the connecting rod from the piston.
a) Using a screwdriver, remove the retaining rings.

b) Gradually heat the piston to a temperature of 80-90°C.
c) Using a plastic-headed hammer and a copper rod, knock out the piston pin and remove the connecting rod.
Note:
- - If necessary, place marks on the piston and connecting rod to ensure correct assembly.
- - Do not disassemble the piston and piston pin.
- - Lay out the piston group parts in sets.
