2. Install the spring compression stroke limiter onto the piston rod.
3. Install the spring.
a) Using the special tool, compress the spring.
b) Install the spring on the rack as shown in the figure.
Note: Install the lower end of the spring into the groove of the lower strut seat.
c) Install the upper vibration isolator.
d) Install the upper saddle.
d) Install the dust seal, upper strut mount and new nut.
e) Pack grease into the suspension support.
4. Install the shock absorber strut with the spring and tighten the three nuts.
- Tightening torque - 65 Nm
5. Connect the shock absorber strut to the steering knuckle.
a) Apply engine oil to the nut threads.
b) Install and tighten the two bolts and nuts.
- Tightening torque - 240 Nm
6. Tighten the shock absorber strut nut.
- Tightening torque - 48 Nm
7. Install the speed sensor and its wire.
Tightening torque of mounting bolts:
- wires - 5 Nm
- sensor - 8 Nm
8. Install the brake hose.
- Tightening torque - 19 Nm
9. Install the front wheel and lower the vehicle.
- Tightening torque - 105 Nm
10. Check the front wheel alignment angles.
