Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Do the following:
(4A-FE, 5A-FE)
A) Remove the right side of the engine protection.
b) Loosen the coolant pump pulley bolt.
V) Remove the alternator drive belt.
G) Remove the washer reservoir.
d) Remove the A/C compressor drive belt.
e) Remove the power steering pump drive belt.
and) Remove the harness guard and disconnect the harness.
h) Disconnect high voltage wires.
And) Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hoses.
To) Remove the cylinder head cover.
l) Remove the air conditioning compressor.
m). Remove compressor bracket.
a) Remove the timing belt.
4. Hang the engine.
5. (7A-FE) Disconnect the two radiator inlet hoses.
Remove the coolant pump pulley.
A) Remove 3 bolts and 3 nuts, and remove the right engine mount.
6) Remove 3 bolts and remove the left (anterior) engine support.
V) Remove 4 bolts and remove the electric fan assembly.
G) Remove the 4 bolts and remove the coolant pump pulley.
7. Remove covers No. 2 and No. 3 of the timing belt by unscrewing the 6 fastening bolts.
8. Remove the power steering pump assembly by removing the pivot and adjusting bolts.
9. Remove the wire harness protection.
A) (5A-FE) Remove the bolt and 2 nuts and remove the wire harness guard.
b) (4A-FE) Loosen the nut, disconnect the mounting clip and remove the wire harness protection.
10. Remove the coolant pump.
A) (4A-FE) Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
b) Remove the oil dipstick from the guide.
V) Disconnect the coolant temperature gauge sensor connector.
G) Turn away 2 nuts and disconnect an inlet branch pipe of a cooling liquid.

7A-FE
d) Remove the 3 mounting bolts and remove the coolant pump together with the coolant inlet pipe.
e) Disconnect fastening clips and remove an inlet branch pipe.
