A) Align the alignment marks on the high pressure fuel pump and the coolant pump.
b) Temporarily tighten the injection pump mounting bolt and nuts.
Torque:
- nut - 18.5 Nm
- bolt - 47.5 Nm
Note: Finally tighten the injection pump bolt and nuts to the specified torque after setting the injection advance angle.
2. Install the injection pump drive pulley.
3. Connect the fuel supply hose.
4. Install the high pressure fuel lines.
- Tightening torque - 30 Nm
5. Connect the coolant bypass pipe. Secure it with a bolt and nut.
6. Connect two coolant bypass hoses.
7. Connect a tube of a supply of a cooling liquid.
A) Install the coolant inlet pipe with a new gasket. Tighten the two nuts and bolt.
- Tightening torque - 18.5 Nm
b) Connect the radiator inlet hose, coolant inlet hose and heater hose.
8. Connect the wiring harness and slide it to the left.
9. (Models with automatic transmission) Connect the throttle valve control cable.
10. Connect an accelerator cable with an arm.
11. Connect the throttle position sensor connector.
12. Connect the fuel cutoff valve connector.
13. Connect the vacuum hose.
14. Install the air intake with the air filter cover.
15. Install the timing belt.
16. Fill in coolant.
17. Pump fuel into the injection pump with a booster pump until you feel resistance.
18. Remove air from nozzles.
A) Loosen the nuts on the high pressure fuel line fittings on the injector side.
b) Crank the engine to remove air until clean fuel comes out of the fuel pipe.
19. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
20. Check minimum idle speed and maximum idle speed (see chapter "Maintenance and general inspection and adjustment procedures").
21. Check the coolant level again.
