Change of oil
The oil change must be carried out with a cold gearbox.
Place the vehicle horizontally on a lift.
Remove engine and transmission covers, if equipped.
Visually check the gearbox for leaks.
Unscrew the plug and drain the oil. After the oil has completely drained out, screw the plug back in.
Install a funnel with a filter mesh into the hole of the oil meter.
Fill with approximately 2.5 liters of automatic transmission oil and check the level.
Attention: The total amount of oil in the gearbox is 5.5 liters. When replacing it, only 2.5 liters are needed, since part of the oil remains in the torque converter.
Start and warm up the engine while driving. Check oil level with engine running. The oil level must not be below the mark corresponding to the given oil condition.
