Wearing parts: ATF Dexron-II oil.

Examination

Drive the car for about 20 km. During this time, the oil in the gearbox should heat up to a temperature of +80-90°C.

Place the car on a level surface.

Start the engine at idle speed. Set the parking brake. Set the gear selector to all positions. Finally, set the selector to position P.

Remove the dipstick and wipe it with a clean cloth.

Insert the dipstick into the hole again and remove it.

Check the oil level. If necessary, top up using a funnel with a filter mesh.

Caution: The oil level must not be below the mark corresponding to the given temperature. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the gearbox. If the oil level is above the mark, the gearbox may overheat and leaks may occur. If the oil level is above the specified level, it must be sucked out.

Caution: If the automatic transmission fluid is black and smells burnt, it needs to be changed.
