Checking the engine oil level
Start and warm up the engine, stop and wait 5 minutes.
Make sure the oil level is between the marks «Low» and «Full» on the oil dipstick.
If the oil level is low, check for leaks and add oil to the mark «Full».
Note. It is forbidden to fill oil above the upper mark.
Checking the quality of engine oil
Make sure the oil is free of impurities, water, discoloration, and is not overly thin.
Change oil in case of low quality. Oil grade by viscosity: 20W-50 and 15W-40 - API class - SJ or SL, universal motor oil.
10W-30 and 5W-30: API Grade - SJ «energy saving», SL «energy saving», or ILSAC universal engine oil.
Oil pressure check
Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector.

Using a 2mm long socket, unscrew the oil pressure switch (pic. 2.445).
Pic. 2.446. Installing a pressure gauge for measuring oil pressure
Install an oil pressure gauge (pic. 2.446).
Warm up the engine.
Check oil pressure.

Pic. 2.447. Applying threadlocker
Apply threadlocker to 2 or 3 threads of the oil pressure switch (pic. 2.447).
Using a 24mm long socket, screw in the oil pressure switch.
Tightening torque: 15 Nm.
Note. It is forbidden to start the engine within 1 hour after installing the contact oil pressure switch.
Connect the oil pressure switch connector.
Check for engine oil leaks.
