Regular performance of all necessary maintenance operations will ensure long and reliable operation of the engine. If maintenance has been performed irregularly and engine performance has deteriorated, the following operations should be carried out.
Primary Checks
Clean, inspect and test the battery.
Check oil and coolant levels.
Check the condition and tension of the drive belts.
Check spark plug wires.
Check the air filter and replace it.
Check the cooling system.
Check the condition of all hoses and inspect them for leaks.
Secondary Checks
All operations listed above plus:
Replace spark plugs.
Check the power system.
Replace air filter.
Replace high voltage wires.
