The exhaust system consists of an exhaust manifold (or 2 collectors), catalytic converter, muffler, connecting pipes and suspension parts (brackets, clamps, cushions). The exhaust system is attached to the body through brackets and rubber cushions. If any of the parts of the system fails, the operation of the engine is accompanied by increased noise.
Damaged parts cannot be repaired and must be replaced.
To remove damaged parts of the exhaust system, you should use an autogen, you can cut it off yourself with a hacksaw. Lubricate all threads with anti-seize compound before assembly. When assembling parts of the exhaust system, make sure that the converter and all heat shields are installed correctly. Provide the necessary clearance between the exhaust pipes and the floor of the body.
