Examination
1. The switch blocks the start of the engine in all selector positions except P and N, and, in addition, when reverse gear is turned on, the signal lights up.
2. Otherwise, adjustment or replacement of the switch is required.
3. Move the selector to position N.
4. Raise the vehicle.
5. Loosen the bolts (indicated by arrows) switch.
6. Turn the switch to align the groove on the shaft with the vertical line on the switch.
7. Tighten the bolts.
8. Check for continuity between the connector pins.
9. At negative results of this check the switch replace.
