Examination
1. Move the selector lever through all positions and ensure that the transmission shifts into the appropriate gears.
2. Move the selector lever to the Neutral position and make sure the transmission is in neutral.
3. Make sure that the indicator readings correspond to the selector position.
4. If it is necessary to adjust the traction, lift the vehicle.
Adjustment
1. The traction should only be adjusted if the traction is worn out or the position of the selector indicator is disturbed.

2. Loosen the nut securing the rod to the selector (indicated by the arrow).
3. Set the selector to the Neutral position, move the lever forward slightly and tighten the nut.
4. Check the adjustment by engaging each gear.
