Hatch alignment check
1. Start the engine and check the operating time of the sunroof mechanism.
Response time about 5 seconds.
Note: for short wheelbase models, the response time is about 10 seconds.
2. Check for abnormal noise or panel bending during the operation of the sunroof mechanism.
3. Check tightness at completely closed hatch.
4. Check the level difference between the sunroof and the roof panel.
Long wheelbase models:
- Cutting edge - 1.9+2,0-0,1 mm
- Trailing edge - 1.9+2,0-0,1 mm
Short wheelbase models:
- Leading edge - 0+1,0-2,0 mm
- Trailing edge - 0+1,0-2,0 mm
- Left and right edge - 0+1,0-2,0 mm
5. If the sliding sunroof does not work:
A) Remove the control switch cover.
b) Loosen the large screw inside.
Attention: do not lose the grower or pad.
V) Manually operate the sunroof mechanism. To do this, insert an angle screwdriver into the hole and rotate the drive shaft.
Sunroof adjustments
1. Before proceeding with the adjustment, remove the left and right lining of the sliding sunroof.
Note: After adjusting, reinstall the sunroof trims.
2. Adjustment for difference in levels. Adjustment is carried out by selecting the number of gaskets between the bracket and the sliding sunroof.
3. Back and forth adjustment.
A) Loosen the sliding sunroof mounting nuts and adjust the sunroof by sliding the bracket forward or backward.
b) If the sunroof is not tight at the front or rear, remove the glass and adjust the guides on the moving parts.
V) Using a screwdriver, slide the sunroof cover forward or backward, aligning the two marks as shown in the figure.
G) Slide the bracket forward by hand.
4. Left-right adjustment.
Loosen the nuts on the back of the sunroof support bracket and move the sunroof to the right or left.
5. Gap adjustment.
If there is a difference in the gaps on the right and left, then loosen the nuts securing the hatch and adjust the position of the hatch.
