Checking the hatch alignment
1. Start the engine and check the response time of the sunroof drive mechanism.
The response time is about 5 seconds.
Note: For short wheelbase models, the response time is about 10 seconds.
2. Check for abnormal noise or panel bending during operation of the sunroof drive mechanism.
3. Check the tightness with the hatch completely closed.
4. Check the difference in level between the sunroof and the roof panel.
Long wheelbase models:
- Front edge - 1.9+2,0-0,1 mm
- Back edge - 1.9+2,0-0,1 mm
Short wheelbase models:
- Leading edge - 0+1,0-2,0 mm
- Back edge - 0+1,0-2,0 mm
- Left and right edge - 0+1,0-2,0 mm
5. If the sliding sunroof does not work:
a) Remove the control switch cover.
b) Unscrew the large screw inside.
Caution: Do not lose the Grover or Gasket.
c) Manually operate the hatch drive mechanism. To do this, insert an angle screwdriver into the hole and rotate the drive shaft.

Hatch adjustments
1. Before making any adjustments, remove the left and right sunroof trims.
Note: After adjustment, reinstall the sunroof trims.

2. Adjustment for differences in levels. Adjustment is made by selecting the number of spacers between the bracket and the sliding hatch.

3. Forward and backward adjustment.
a) Loosen the sliding sunroof mounting nuts and adjust the sunroof by sliding the bracket forward or backward.

b) If the sunroof does not fit tightly at the front or rear, remove the glass and adjust the guides of the moving parts.
c) Use a screwdriver to move the hatch cover forward or backward, aligning the two marks as shown in the figure.

d) Move the bracket forward by hand.
4. Left-right adjustment.
Loosen the nuts securing the rear of the sunroof support bracket and move the sunroof to the right or left.
