A) Disconnect the connector from the low oil pressure switch. Ground the connector on the wire side.
b) Turn on "ignition": The indicator should be on. If the indicator does not light, check the indicator lamp.
2. Checking the sensor-switch.
A) Disconnect the sensor connector.
b) With the engine off, check for continuity between the switch terminal and "earth".
V) With the engine running, check for continuity between the switch terminal and "earth".
Note: The switch circuit opens when the oil pressure is higher than 0.5 kg/cm2 (49 kPa).
G) Replace the sensor if it does not work as specified.
